<image:title>About - Rebecca Lloyd, Founder and Lead Coach, ParentWorks</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m Rebecca Lloyd, Founder and Lead Coach of ParentWorks. As an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach, I help organisations retain and empower working parents and carers through coaching that enhances wellbeing, inclusion, and business success. Over the last eight years, I’ve worked with parents, carers, and leaders across a variety of industries - supporting them to navigate the complex and often competing demands of work, care, and life. My work has shown me how vital it is for businesses to create workplaces where parents feel valued, engaged, and supported to perform at their best. Why I’m Passionate About Supporting Parents As both a coach and a parent, I understand the realities facing working parents and carers and the risks organisations face when these challenges go unsupported. Burnout, career stagnation, and talent loss are all too common. I founded ParentWorks because I believe organisations can take a proactive role in building inclusive, supportive workplaces where all parents and carers can thrive - and as a result, business performance strengthens.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Support Your People. Protect Your Business.</image:title>
<image:caption>ParentWorks partners with organisations to future-proof their workforce by empowering working parents, carers, and the leaders who manage them through tailored parental support coaching programmes. We help businesses: Retain top talent and reduce the hidden costs of staff turnover. Organisations with family-friendly policies see up to 35% lower staff turnover among working parents (Beyond the 9-to-5: helping working parents thrive, BHSF). Strengthen employee engagement and wellbeing. 83% of working parents report burnout, affecting productivity and long-term engagement (Working Mom Burnout: HR Strategies To Support & Retain Talent, Wellhub). Build inclusive, resilient teams that drive business performance. Leaders who actively support working parents contribute to stronger, more engaged teams (Women in the Workplace, McKinsey & LeanIn). Our coaching recognises the diverse experiences of parents across gender, family structure, neurodiversity and culture.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Why Supporting Parents is Business-Critical</image:title>
<image:caption>The Business Case for Supporting Working Parents For many parents and carers, the support they receive at work can determine whether they stay and thrive long term. 73% of working parents say they consider employer support for family life before applying for a new role or promotion (Bright Horizons Modern Families Index 2025). Unaddressed challenges for working parents lead to lost productivity and increased turnover costs. Employers lose an estimated £1.5 billion each year due to parents reducing hours or leaving the workforce because of insufficient support (Supporting working parents and carers, CBI, supported by SHRM & McKinsey insights). Leaders who are equipped to support parents create stronger, more engaged teams. Companies with trained, inclusive leadership teams see a 21% increase in profitability and a 27% reduction in staff turnover (Women in the Workplace, McKinsey & LeanIn). Investing in coaching for working parents and leaders isn’t just the right thing to do - it’s a strategic move that protects your people and your bottom line.</image:caption>

<image:title>Parents Returning to Work - Add-On: Leadership Coaching for Line Managers</image:title>
<image:caption>We recommend offering three one-to-one coaching sessions for the parent’s direct line manager. These are designed to run in parallel with the parent’s coaching journey, timed to ensure leaders can effectively support the parent at each stage of the transition. Recommended Timeline for Leadership Coaching: Session 1: Before the parent’s leave or early in their leave Focus on building awareness of diverse parental experiences and exploring how to proactively support team members through role clarity, communication, and expectation-setting. Session 2: During Keeping in Touch (KIT) period Coaching centres on re-engaging with the parent, managing evolving expectations, and identifying leadership behaviours that foster a smooth and inclusive return. Session 3: Shortly after the parent’s return to work A reflective session to address real-time challenges, ensure open dialogue, and fine-tune leadership strategies to continue supporting the parent and wider team. Additional Note: If leadership coaching begins later - such as during the KIT days or after the parent has returned - it will be adapted to focus on the immediate needs of the leader and team while continuing to support long-term inclusion, equity, and retention goals.</image:caption>
